Alright. As you may know that I am not all that into music, but recently I have found out that music really (and I mean really) calms me down from a bad mood to a good mood. So we'll say it helps me ... I know it was weird to me at first too...

I have an iPod Touch that I bought yesterday, and I got 32Gigs to fill up with music and other stuff. So, want to help me pick a few songs?

I am not into any particular Genre, as all of them are nice and calm to me, so I can list a few that I like and you guys can tell me more which are like these...

    Fort Minor - Petrified
    Fort Minor - Kenji
Papa Roach - To be loved
    Evanescence - My Immortal
Papa Roach - Roses on my Grave
    Young Money
    Disturbia

    and others like that.

So you guys think that you guys can give me a list of songs and I can download them so I can lsiten to them later on?? :D

    Thanks!
    Zain

If you search those songs on iTunes, they will show you what others who have bought those songs also bought.

If you just started getting into music, why the hell did you get a 32 GB iTouch? lol You're never gonna fill that up. I have a 16 GB iTouch and I have all kidna of movies, tv shows, and music on it and it still isn't filled.

Majin, I know that SOME people are absolutely insane about how much music they have (and never listen to), but he said he's just getting into music, so why get something so big AND expensive? $500 is a lot of money.

Ever heard of a festival called Eid? it is in the Muslim Tradition.

We young people usually get tons and tons of money from our elders right?

I got 30,000 Rupees from my aunt which was sent by mail to me from India. She told me to use the money ... like right away. And I thought what the heck. Then my parents gave me money and others and so on.

I took my parents and my aunts and combined was around 3.5k USD so I decided to buy an I Pod Touch and a Macbook Air with it :D
And I still got enough left over to buy a new PS3 ;)

I will see what I can find on iTunes but any other halp is good :D

Oh btw I am a Rich Bitch :D

Lets get back to the topic Zero alright?

So anyone got some good songs that they listen to ?

Also will I be needing to buy the songs from the iTunes store or can I download them from somewhere?

I asked a few friends around college and they said that there is a program called Limewire? I looked it up online but am not downloading it til I know what it is... is it safe?

Do you go to college? If so, I wouldn't suggest using limewire cuz you might get caught. What I do is I BUY THE SONGS LEGALLY FROM A LICENSED MUSIC DISTRIBUTOR

Errr....I don't really know what genre you want, but here's a bunch of songs from my energy playlist (faster pace, but not loud).

    1) Get Myself Into It - The Rapture
    2) Brianstorm - Arctic Monkeys
    3) Work It Out - RJD2
    4) Streets on Fire - Lupe Fiasco
    5) Falcon Jab - Ratatat
    5) Use Your Love - Katy Perry (Heard the original while playing Vice City, so decided to get this one too)
    6) Burn it all Down - VHS or Beta
    7) Junior Kickstart - The GO! Team
    8) Ghetto Pop Life - Danger Mouse & Jemini
    9) The Boxer - The Chemical Brothers

Here is a link to my last.fm with some of the *most* common bands I listen to (but I have a larger library than maj and lbot on my computer lol)
    http://www.last.fm/user/dementedlogic

Oh, and if it wasn't evident enough, I highly recommend that site to find artists with similar styles to your own, I have found quite a few new bands that I love from that site.

The best thing you could do is this:

Download LAST.FM and install it, register, etc.

Open the Last.FM client and go to Start a Station.

Type in an artist you already like and it will start to stream songs from similar artists for you and you can listen to these for free.

When you find something you enjoy, add it to your loved tracks and you can go back and check it out.
