i like it but it looks more like an alien . the second one is alright but i still am not sure what im looking at. good job on both though.

I agree, the second one needs to be defined more. Don't know what it is exactly..

the goal of the second is achieved since it is abstract and the target is to challenge the viewers perception...
well done... if you drop it sideways i see a blurred bridge with some street lights with what might be an explosion of energy to the left... reflecting into the darkened sky...
Excellent job for a back ground now slap something on it and start blending

 

Thanks, however, the vert is abstract... and its gonna stay that way. Why would I slap a render on it and cover it all up.

Its abstract, its not that hard to grasp. Next time I will slap an anime render on it and add 400 effect c4ds to please you.
