    Well, well well, missed me huh? Been a long time and i guess im back. Just a thought came into my head, and amazingly it's about METAL.

    What or WHICH song got you into the whole 'Rock' or 'Metal' scene :)? I always wonder how people become SO involved with it :) *not that its a bad thing or anything*

    For me, the first time i got into Metal, was when i was watching Freddy vs. Jason, the soundtrack just got me into it... IN FLAMES - TRIGGER

    How about you?

    i was raised in a rock environment. so ive always listen to it. Like it too.

    Raised with music from the 60s 70s and 80s.......so thats basicly the eras that the real rock was.....hate the stuff today

    All my friends were rockers, so hanging around them got me into it, and my dad i guess

    Mates all listened to it before I did, can kinda blame them I think, teh song(s) that started it all for me tho was Metallica - Whiskey In The Jar and Children Of Bodom - Children of Decadence

    I have been listening to rock all my life but i have just recently got into metal only within the last 2 or so years. I remember listening to my dads old black sabbath records as a kid so that was an influence. The thing that got me considering metal was my friends KoRn cd "Issues". It took off from there. Now i hate Korn but i love metal. A few of my favorite bands are Chimaira, Unearth, All That Remains, Bleeding Through, God Forbid, Shadows Fall, 36 Crazyfists, and Killswitch Engage. If you are looking for something to listen to that isnt metal but is very weird rock music, check out Primus. They are my favorite band of all time.

    my dad has stuff like old motley crue and such
    i like all kinds of rock
    but classic is the best
    one of my favorite metal/alternative is "prayer" also "last resort"
    by disturbed and papa roach

    i would have to say i grew up listening to ACDC and metallica through my father hu banned any other musik in his house so yea... kinda force into it i guess
