    Thanks!

    Well it's certainly a start. :)

Here's a few tips to help get you going:
    - Post your render here as a direct image using the image tags so that all members can see the cut over a dark background.
    - If you don't already do so, use either the pen (paths) tool or the polygonal lasso to make your cuts. These provide superior results and are very easy to use once you learn how.
    - Choose large, high quality renders. In general, you want your originals to be at least 500x500px in dimension to give users something to work with.
    - Always preview your renders over various colours of background so as to catch andy mistakes. (Black, white, red, blue, etc.) Remember, what looks good over a white background may not look right over a darker one.

    ---

Hope these tips helped, I certainly wish to see more of your work around here and wish you good luck with future cuts. ;)

Looks pretty good to me, a bit choppy around the hair, though, but it's still a good start.

    It came out ok...

But the first thing you need to do - is choose the right picture original.
you need a high res shot or your not going to get the quality you seek.

Next is the tools... Like Mage said use the pen or polygon
to learn this go to the Tutorial post here and you will better your skill by 1000 folds.

ClicK HerE FoR the LinK to ThE RendeR TutoriaL

Keep this in mind - if you where able to have the patience to achieve that result with the tools you where using, you will love the tutorial and your result will be impressive
