I've tried everything i can think off.
25 credits to whoever can get this problem solved for me (if more than one person helps me 3 most helpful gets 25 credits)

    ok i built this computer.
    Hooked everything up
    PSU
    memory
    cpu
    gpu
    mobo
(those are the only 4 things it absolutely requires to show something on the monitor, right?)

wouldn't display a picture so since the psu wast giving power to cd drive fans mobo etc i assumed that wasn't the problem
gpu works in my current computer
tried switching cord and monitor to ones i know work (the ones I'm currently using to post this)
    and it still doesn't work

    swapped out mobos
tried both gpu slots on the second one still no picture

am about to swap out for memory i know works (just realized i haven't checked that as I post this, silly me)
will edit if that fixes it

and other than that idk what else the problem is besides cpu, which I've no idea how to check and I REALLY do not want to swap my current one out to check if that works

    Thanks,
    K4D

Tried a stick of memory i know is working, didn't help, any ideas would be great

The memory standard for the mobo is ddr2 1200
and the memory has a speed of ddr2 800 i assume it just can't be higher than the standard or does this make them completely incompatible??

    EDIT: more info

So, let me just make sure I got this correct, your post was a bit hard to follow.

    Power Supply works.
    Memory works.

You tested the video card with a different motherboard? It works?

If thats the case, you have a bad slot on your motherboard. RMA it.

power supply i'm fairly sure works.
    memory works.
    videocard works.

what about cpu? can that go bad?
i've tried 2 different motherboards gotten the exact same results from both (tried 3 different videocard slots, 2 different cpu slots) so i'm kinda leaning away from it being the mobo again
but the only other thign i can think of is the cpu going bad

Wait, your getting no video on multiple different motherboards? Did you use the exact same processor for each of those motherboards too?
