How To Make Bullet Holes?

Well im very curious on how to make bullet holes, this is weird though becuase it isnt a render used i dont think. Im looking at making mixtape covers and this is pretty essential.

Bullet holes are different depending on what you shoot.You want to make shot glass right?If you don't mind not making it yourself I'd just download brushes, but if you do I would do something with the pentool.
