To install a decent number of games your going to need a reasonable HDD, most people have a 20GB which, on top of saves, isn't going to be enough. So your going to have to buy a larger HDD, and guess who the only thing compatible is made by? I don't even know how there going to update it as massively as that. I wouldn't put it past them if you had to buy and extra part. You may need to put each disc in individually though to prove you own it, as thats what Microsoft plan to do, and I can't see it being any different to games with multiple discs, so that really doesn't make a difference as you'd still need all the discs.
The new update will allow you to copy games from the cd's to your hard drive...so even if its 10 dicks ... doesn't really matters. Anyway ... I got nothing ... rofl. AND you can actually make your own 120 gig hard drive... lulz... No need...the only disc you need will probly be the 1st one. so yea.
Possibly. But I'm still puzzled about how there going to update it. They'd need to massively change the coding of the console, if not add more hardware to it, as well as the coding of the games to allow them to be installed. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it was a later model feature :/
I am an owner of both the PS3 and XBOX 360 and I was a die hard PS fan! Although I was very dissapointed with the PS3 compared to the 360, I had too high hopes for sony and was had an image in my head that PS3 was gonna blow the 360 away! I was so wrong... the navigation system i find are both equal in organization and how simple it is to find your way around. I have an HD TV, I am using HDMI components on the PS3 and regular HD on the xbox. The graphics I find are not better in anyway on either systems when playing the same games (ex. Call of duty 4 for PS3 vs Call of duty 4 for 360) they look the exact same. HDMI looks a little more sharp, but hardly and im sure you can get the same out of the XBOX elites HDMI component. now with that being said, graphics are equal, 1 thing i found extremely disapointing in the PS3 is their console games. like HAZE. It still looks like a PS2 game! its a little fuzzy and extremely pixely! where as the 360s HALO 3, is very nice, clean, crisp and vibrant! Now most people say not to compare the games because halo is more of a cartoonish type graphics and HAZE is a realistic looking game. Sooo compare it to Gears of war then? Gears of wars is probably the most dominant game in graphics right now for all systems. You can argue that, but its true! INTERNET CAPABILITIES: PSN - FREE XBOX LIVE - $55 /yr PS3 has internet browsing which is really awesome, it has the playstation store where you can download add-ons, ps one/psp games. Demos, videos, themes and arcade games. thats awesome! but not as impressive as the 360, hence the reason for paying that $55 you should expect more... XBOX has a marketplace which is the same as the PSN store, but XBOX has far more content than the PS3 does, they both get the same demo, video, and game content add ons *only for huge game titles supported by both systems. XBOX has over 2000 profile avatars where as PSN has a select few, around 50 or so... XBOX also has themes, but they are definately not as cool as PS3. XBOX has the most massive collection of arcade games ranging from 1989 ninja turtles classic to sonic the hedgehog, to centipede to asteroids...a massive variety of classic games which PS3 does not have. XBOX gets far more weekly content, around 100 new things each week, more demos and you get content earlier than the PS3....but this is of course because your paying for the service! so all in all. the online experience is better on the XBOX. but it might change once home is released... Playstation 3 brings you everything for free, mostly anyway where as the xbox just wants your money...money, money, money! you want wireless? go buy the adapter! you want HDMI? go buy a brand new system! you want to buy downloadable content? then you gotta fork out a little extra bucks becase we only accept our microsoft points. Your controller is always dead? go buy our play and charge kit! oh your battery pack died after 4 months? not our fault. buy a new one, thats why we sell them seperately! you want HD movies? well we sell the HD player seperately for $200 and now HD Discs have been stopped...damnit! and the list goes on and on... u get the idea I dont mind the controllers, im used to both of them. XBOX has an achievements list for each games which lets u get a little more gameplay and fun out of your games, PS3 just recently introduced a similar system with trophies. XBOX is NOT a reliable system, with all this 3 red lights, 1 red light, screens turning green, over heating, and so on... I dont get that problem with the PS3. i turn it on and im feel comfortable. sometimes im afraid of turning on the xbox because its too much stress when the damn thing freezes or gives u red lights My xbox sounds like a harley davidson, and my PS3...oh i didnt even know it was on! quiet. So xbox vs ps3. they both have their ups and downs. really its just your own opinion. you cant really say 1 system is better than the other because where one fails the other succeeds. and vice versa
