Well, I'm on a budget. I need a 400w+ PSU. And, I basically, need this like right away in the following day. So, it will be from Bestbuy/Circuit City. What I need it for: my 8600 GTS (Please. No flame about the GPU) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130084 My specs: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=213658 Which PSU will be good? I'm kinda computer illiterate. I basically need it for like an extra power for the graphic card. It looks like: Click The thing with 2 cables (a "6 pin" black side and double 3 pin on the other end) See. I'm that bad. I found http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1203815240854 is it any good
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...&Tpk=8800GS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817139003 better performance, better PSU
Thanks. My 8600GTS is just for temp. until I get more money. Before all things, I need a stable PSU to even have the 8800GS running. I'm trying to find one on Bestbuy/Circuit City rather because I need it now, or else I can't use that computer for a while.
Ultra make some awesome PSU's if you can shell out the cash for it. http://www.ultraproducts.com/subcategory.php?cPath=36 I'd just buy a quality power supply. No use trying to find something cheap from BestBuy/Circuit City
