CS3 is good enough for me. It has everything I need.

    I'm still on CS 1 =//
If I tried to install CS3 on here my computer would probably turn into a giant lagg monster and eat my family =/

Actually CS3 drains much less than CS1

...If you want the power but not the draining...get Photoshop 7.0

There wasn't much of a difference from 2 to 3, so I doubt 4 will be much different.

I'll stick with CS2, it works fine.

"Adobe is not releasing CS4 on Sept 23. The Sept 23 event is an online broadcast detailing what CS4 will offer. No date has yet been set for the CS4 release"

shame i was looking forward to seeing what was new

Stonhenge was a fake just a diff splash screen if you look in the files ect ect they were identical to cs3 :(

Dang, this is why Adobe frustrates me. Every year, a new release. People can't keep up... I mean, sure, after I get my degree and get a job, I can write it off on my taxes, but I'd probably still be forking out an annoying amount of money (I actually have only paid taxes once, so I don't really know).

Wasn't CS3 Extended a large difference? I was looking at the features, and CS2 looked almost identical to CS3, but the extended edition had a lot of extra things. Not sure how big a difference those make though. Either way, I have to buy the Design Premium package for school, so I'm just going to go for the Master package. $200 more (for me) with a lot more programs.
