for videos? try VLC, far less bloated than WMP let alone with CCP on top

Anyone know a good application for playing DVDs? Or an area to get the codec required for things like WMP.

look up about two posts lol.
http://www.cccp-project.net/ had every codec you'll ever need m8. Audio and video decoders.

@ZERO, the VLC media player look quite nice, but i've always prefered using wmp, rather than downloading another program to do the same thing. The CCCP is pretty good, and neither have ever glitched or frozen while watching/listening to 100 gb's of media.

codec packs are crap and completely unnecessary only one codec is needed ffdshow if you use wmp. Other player options are VLC, Media Player Classic, GOM Player, Kantaris Media Player, and The KMPlayer

it will play mkv but not rmvb since its properitery. The only way to play those is to install Real Player or Real player alternative with Media player classic

Thanks Red Alert! For some reason Media Player wasn't playing any of my .mkv files, it would just be sound, so I just opened it with VLC Player and it works perfectly, thanks :D
