Definitely dont like whatever that is over his face. And there is absolutely nothing going on on the left side.

V2 is best

Negative space doesn't work for this tag.. Not liking the scanlines all that well.. You don't have that much color and effects in the tag, and the one blue part that you do have is covered by scanlines. So just delete some off that part, just so you still have the scanlines in the tag, just not so overwhelming. Text could would well for the negative space as well, so I wouldn't mind seeing a version with text

 

It's a vast improvement from what you first showed me.
Hm, I still think the c4d on his shoulder is a bit right.
