Big Ironman Picture?

i just thought i would mess around and try make a new sig when i done this...ended up taking me like an hour and a half i think, doing lots of different things.

anyhow heres my result. ANY C&C is very much appreciated as always.



- V2 - brighter eyes + chest lights


P.S if you cant see, theres text around his fist, and my signature on the top left (couldnt be arsed putting Pr3dator its a gay name lol)

I like this piece man. It all fits together. Looks like he's in a battle with the images around the render.

 

Thanks alot for the C&C man, yeah thats what i was aiming for, a kind of grenade going off in the bottom right (which has uber effects for some reason! ) and him punching the ground and gripping it to hold on so to speak.

yeah text is a real weak point of mine, i just dont know any techniques at all on how to get it right...

any tips on that?

 

I have some tips on text in my Guitar Hero tutorial in the tutorial section.
I did want to ask you to try one more thing on this sig though..
Make a new layer and get a soft white brush and brush over the eyes and the hole in his chest.Pplay around with the blending options. I think it would look better if that area was brighter.
Don't overdo it. Just one click on each of the 3 spots.

 

Hmmm...i did use the Dodge tool over them areas to brighten them up already but ill make it brighter and see if it looks any better

 

New Version added to the Original Post, made it brighter on the chest light and also brightened the eyes and thinly smudged it down the way in the way hes facing

Edit: also sharpened my name Dean, so its actually slightly readable now lol

 

Ah! I like this V2 more. Way to go! I like the size of this piece. I'd say try another one the same size.
