Hmm.. I'd start with matching the colour of the render to the colour of the background, and aligning them up more.. Maybe smudge a bit around the render too to add a better feel to it.. As it stands, it looks as though the render was simply pasted onto the background and some C4D's thrown in for good measure. Its not bad, but is definately unfinished. Hope that helps.
thank you that helped a lot im gonna sleep on the piece, and im gonna start something new and come back to that at a later time. its taking a lot of playing with, im definitely trying everything you mentioned. i really appreciate the help. Thank you :wub:
What Wynter said and I would also throw in a neon/glowing edges layer to the c4d and set it to dodge to make it stronger.
