Hey Guys!

Hey guys

Well as you most likely know already, our little man Cameron finally arrived on the 4th August at 11:46pm (14 minutes before his due date!). He weighed 5lb 9oz, such a tiny little guy, heh. (We was told he was going to be between 7-9lb, don't know where the rest of him went, lol).

We had him weighed again last thursday and he was 6lb 6oz, yes, yes hes a greedy little guy

I was in labour (having contractions) for 44 hours before he finally came, the labour went great, took about an hour or less to give birth to him. I had a little gas and air throughout it all so im rather proud of myself The midwife didn't know i was giving birth to him for atleast 20 minutes, she was going about doing her thing, getting everything ready etc... she then turned around and went 'oh, i just seen your babys head!' lol, i was kinda like.. 'well duh, i am pushing over here'

Cameron and i had to stay in the hospital for 3 days as he wasn't feeding at the beginning (was breast feeding and he wasn't quite taking to it at the time) but he finally took to it and everything was fine, they checked on us, made sure we were alright etc before they discharged us. I was kinda pissed went i got home and found out that the midwives who took Cameron from me one night (to let me catch up on my sleep) bottle fed him without my permission (he now won't take to my breast. I have to use a breast pump, but eh... whatever, hes still getting it right? )

Im not too sure when i will be more active, im still getting myself into a routine etc so....
