Thats right, ebuyer are selling a Zotact 8800GT, with a small factory overclock, for under £75 GBP, free delivery. Thought this might be usefull for some gamers in the UK like myself. http://www.ebuyer.com/product/145605
If you buy it with a small factory over clock on it on the Zotac, you wont be able to o/c your card yourself.
Fair enough, i havent looked into card overclocking yet. I may do mine sometime, but i've never really looked into it. Just thought it wass an alright deal for £75.
uhh... actually you still can. AND cards with OCs are usually higher binned than ones without and thus are likely to OC to higher clock speeds themselves when you have a go at it. yes overclocking a factory overclocked card sounds crazy... but it is very doable. my card as technically factory overclocked. And then I OCed it 15% above it's regular specs
No, the Zotac wont let you over clock it if it has the factory OC on it. Even a minimal adjustment, causes graphical tests to fail. Which means its not at all stable, and unable to be oc'ed.
facepalm.jpg http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&saf...amp;btnG=Search you're perfectly capable of OCing the card just like any other... now if you mean it invalidates a warranty... technically yes, but to say you're unable is a gross exageration
