Well Ill be starting college this year, so I have 2 tips to give you guys in HS! 1. Well last 2 months of my senior year come around and im just like ------ this, ------ that, bla bla bla. So my eng. teacher gives us like hella worksheets and ----. First semester I didn't really do em I got a C if I remember correctly. So now with 2 months to go, I need to graduate (I would've failed on purpose if I could roll back time...see #2), so I start doin the worksheets a bit. I get really pissed off about having to do dis ---- so I'm sittin at my computer and I type a question directly into google. BAM! BAM! BAM! OMG THE WHOLE WORKSHEET, ANSWERED! (which was actually study guide with more than 50 questions). I type in some old questions from old worksheet and find them too! ANSWERS and all.....So I could've had straight A's in Eng4 my whole senior year pretty much....who knew right? So 1: TYPE ANY WORKSHEET OR STUDY GUIDE QUESTIONS INTO GOOGLE! 2. Well some people might say I'm stupid for saying this but your senior year fail 1 mandatory class on purpose. (ex. Economics) Now why you ask? Well I was looking back at HS and its like heaven. I mean now that I know all the ------ing answers were on GOOGLE....So my suggestions to you guys would be fail 1 mandatory class. Your next year (SUPERsenior! haha), take that 1 mandatory class, do dual enrollment (you should be able to take COLLEGE ALG and COMP 1....that knocks out 2 1st year college classes), then with the 1 or 2 periods left over take TWO AP CLASSES (that knocks out another 2 college classes).....my first year of college I'm full time only taking 5 classes. By knocking out 3 or 4 of em FOR LIKE FREE would've been great. Dual enrollment pays for books too if I'm not mistaken which I already spent like 300$ on this starting semester. If you wanna catch up on the 1-2 classes you missed that you probably would've taken your first year in college take a summer semester after you finally graduate HS. Oh plus you get to ------ all the HS chicks for another year! hahaha As for walking with 'your class'....o well its just HIGH SCHOOL guys. So 2: FAIL 1 MANDATORY CLASS ON PURPOSE SENIOR YEAR AND TAKE 3-4 COLLEGE CLASSES NEXT YEAR AND THE CLASS YOU FAILED
The reason you go to school, is to learn things. If you just plain simple go to google and search on the answers there you are not learning anything. Hence the reason why you talk in slang. If aren't going to be efficient with school, then just simply don't go.
. No matter how much I hate school, I'm going because I know it will help me. And if I don't learn, whats the point in going. School is very helpful no matter how much you hate it. You were in senior year, you don't have to do much. Most seniors just coast on through getting like straight B's, you don't have to put too much effort into it to get a B (in most cases, but if you are in XL or AP classes of course this changes)
or you could actually do your work which is easy, get a good grade, and not end up at some piece of ---- community college or state school which is probably where youre going because you failed a mandatory class...
doing that doesnt mean you dont know the material its just you dont want to do it its like using a calculator on math, when you could do it without one
Theres a big difference between the two. Getting answers off google proves that you do not know it. It's also plagiarism; getting expelled from a school is usually the main punishment for it. Using a calculator is a different thing. Its an aid; it still proves you know the mathematical formula. Not to mention most teachers will still require you to show your work out anyways.
This is absolutely senseless information. Sure the answers are on google sometimes, but why not learn? You might do this in high school and think all is well, but I just started college and when your teachers say it is different - believe them. I was a straight A high school student, coasted, never really had to study, and now I wish I had developed better study habits then, because I have to now.
"doing that doesnt mean you dont know the material its just you dont want to do it" exactly. i always passed the tests and quizes my grades only went down because of the stupid worksheets i didnt want to do.
