    I mainly want some C&C here. Can people give me some pointers as to how I can improve my skills?

    I'll get around to it soon, but I find them hard to follow sometimes.

    for me maybe make the render a little bit more visable (about 10%)

    but overall not too bad bad but like ewart said

    That's the problem, the render was still at 100% opacity.
    Thanks for the advice...

    hmm duplicate (render) place on top of image and decrease to 20 or 15%?

    it's a little better yeah ;) When you making a sig what you have to focus on is your focal, make your focal stand out, in this case the render must be your focal... Make it stand out by creating depth and lightning, now all the effects are on top of your focal, wich makes it impossible to see :)

    Keep it up, keep reading tuts, and you will get there ;)

    I've never really done so well with depth, but I'll try work with some tuts and see how I go.
    Funny thing is though, there's only one layer on top of the render.

    yep follow some tuts It doesn't matter if you
    leave you render on 100 make the c4d's opacity lower
    nice try.
