jesus was a son of god who knew more about what/who god is than you do...lmao where r u getting your logic.
the bible says jesus is the son of god, never saying he is god.

dont talk to me about logic
book with stories about a guy who changes peoples lives and does magic tricks and "saves" people?
plus this book is kinda old and there is no proof
    wheres the logic in that???
evolution on the other hand is a logical explaination of our exsistance
    Logic>beliefs
and you said we are all the son of god...
and jesus was the son of god
    so that makes me jesus

jesus was ason of god...JESUS CHRIST ROFL.

wheres logic in no god. i wasn't preaching the bible dude. just that god exists in all of us.

& i only answered your question about me believing in jesus as god because i dont believe jesus is god... i believe everybody is entitled to believe in their own god. Jah,jehovah, allah they are all the same damn god. Logic and science are your gods because that's what u look to to back all your beliefs. Y should your beliefs be any better than anybody else's belief.

i quoted a atheist and i still get bashed like i'm this religious figure.

    Oof?
    Listen.
    Children.
Calm the ------ down and shut up for a minute.

Now, I'm an Atheist, (in the sense that, I don't believe in any modern-day religion as such but have belief there is a higher power.)

Now first of all, the video is pathetic, sparking a debate which has no ending. A debate on religion is never going to make an Atheist a Christian or vice-versa. Trying to disprove the existance of god with FACTS is pathetic simply because, people, have, FAITH.

    What's wrong with religion?
Sure, it's got a hell of a lot of people killed, so have Atheists, should we stop Atheists beliefs? You know, animals kill quite a lot of people too, let's wipe them out. People die, get over it. Personally I don't see a damn thing wrong with religion (Assuming it's not being forced on me, which doesn't happen nearly as often as made out).
Religion lets people die happy knowing they've led a good life and that an even better after-life is waiting for them. Now what the ------ is wrong with that?

    Religion-Makes-Millions-Of-People-Happy.

Original poster, you're making Atheists look bad, just as bad as the Religious people who force their beliefs on other people, now you're forcing your beliefs on them. You're an ignorant child who clearly hasn't touched the bible and is (as you've said) basing nearly everything you've said on either Media or other Atheists. Grow up and do your own research.

Showtime, Science may not have started wars per-se (Although I think you'll find you're wrong there, Horishima anyone?) yet science has done one major thing for Planet Earth and Humans, it's allowed us to kill each other quicker and easier then ever before.

Kind of funny how throughout this topic, everyone's been entirely ignorant to the other side of the argument. Religion makes people happy, yes, people die, people die all the damn time who cares? It's life, get over it. And to the 'hardcore' Atheists, how about not insulting something the other person believes so strongly in? Something that makes BILLIONS of people happy?

    Kay? Kay.

    lolz,

I dont know if anyones like me, but i never think about how we come about or what happens to us after we die.
Religion has no role in my mind or life whats so ever when i almost died i thought about my mom. Not f-ing god, and i dont know if there is one or not and i frankly don't care, im not saying i dont believe in a higher being or that i do believe in one I honestly do not think about stuff like that.

For me its all about what's happening right now...in my life.
But tbh the religion crap does keep order in the world cus i do think with out it a bunch of people would run around here like maniacs.
There would be so much violence, then there is now.

Because I'm not a sheep, there is no god

as a preface: im just not religious.

thank you! religion helps millions more people than it hurts. its a source of hope when everything else is lost.

the problem with the atheist argument is that its impossible to prove that god doesnt exist. you can prove that there are factual inaccuracies in the bible but no more than that.

 How many times must I listen to atheists go on about how they are right, we are all wrong, and they have the market cornered on knowledge of the world and our souls.

Ok, first things first: In order for us to be here, something made us.
Even if you believe in the big bang, something had to create the little bit of material that went bang. From that, we would have had to evolve( if there was no God) and scientists have done studies---It's actually, mathematically speaking, more probable that there is a God that created us, than it is possible that evolution is correct. Oh, and where did that bit of material come from? The info about the mathematical chances comes from a book called "The G.O.D. Experiments", and written by a scientist. He's not a Christian, but he studies the bible and finds many bits of evidence which follows suit. Can't remember the author :/

Next, there is actually evidence that goes along with information in the Bible. They have found remnants of cities named in the Bible, they have even found texts speaking of a man called the messiah, a man that garnered great attention from the people(this doesn't prove the existence of Christ, but it doesn't hurt, either). I'll find links to the info later.

Fact is, there is NO evidence of the evolutionary theory---That's why it's THEORY. People that believe that Evolution is truth, are just as guilty of being in a religion as anyone else---After all, what is a belief in something, with no physical proof? Is that any different than Christianity? If that's the case, at least what we believe is a bit happier! If you feel otherwise, give me 5 examples of PROOF of Evolution. Heck, I'll do you one better. Give me 5 examples that go along with evolution. Oh, and before you try it, carbon dating won't work. It's already been found that carbon dating can only date back a few thousand years. If you pull out examples of carbon dating, I'll have to go about giving examples of it's erroneous nature. And no one likes to waste time.

Your statements about people dying thanks to "Divine Orders" is somewhat valid, but only somewhat. I'm only guessing you're speaking of the Crusades, and the Spanish Inquisition. The fact is, those people were no more acting in God's name than I would be, if I went around killing prostitutes. NOWHERE in the Bible was there text that would have deemed what they did as "righteous". They did it for the same reason Catholics did many things back then---Power, and money. It's the same as when the Catholics "forgave" people of their sins, in return for "donations". Only God can forgive a man of his sins, and wash them away. In the same respect, it was not some God given right of the Catholic church to go about on it's crusades.

All you have done with your little video is proven how ignorant you are of what you're fighting against. As others have stated, watching a video, or listening to someone else, will not teach you about what you are fighting. I'm a Christian, but I'm also a student of the arts of war. Learn your enemy. You wanna debate? Read the Bible. Learn what it is you think you're fighting. When I wanted to debate people on the ideas of Islam, I didn't simply spout the words of some preacher---I went and read chapters of the Quran. When I debate against Abortion, I don't just say what others have said---I study.

I'm not saying you have to become religious, or anything like that. But I hate it when someone tries to start a debate, and has no idea of what they are doing.

One last thing, although showtime is probably a young boy, I have to back him up in one respect, the bombs were NOT dropped out of "science". The bombs were, primarily, dropped in order to show Russia what the U.S. could do, if Russia tried something after Germany fell. Stopping Japan wasn't even the main reason, because Japan was already making some small movements towards stopping their military. We simply had to make a statement to Russia, and that statement was "You feel lucky, punk? Well, do ya?"
