I didn't use tutorials, I'm trying to find a style on my own. I just need a guide on making borders and I'm good.

Yah I know, but its only a work in progress to finding my style. I'm more of a grunge kind of guy.

 

well it is very basic

text is very overdone. also colours are quite bland

 

I'd say it's really good considering you haven't used any tutorials. I don't think it's that bad of a signature like the other two might have suggested (or bland more the term). Try changing the text around a bit. Maybe make Sonic a bit bigger, too?

Well as for the text blending, I need people to recommend me some fonts for my style. I've looked through tons of fonts and haven't found the right one. I'm not really into the whole tutorial thing, I like learning on my own experiences. Anyway, I'm thinking of doing bigger signatures instead of the 325x120 ones.
