On August 18th (this monday), I'm leaving for Basic Combat Training in Ft. Knox, KY. There I am going to be trained as a Cavalry Scout. For those who have no idea what that is, here is a brief description straight from goarmy.com My training is a total of 16 weeks long, and I'm scheduled to be back at home just a few days before Christmas. Thanks for entertaining me for so long GR, you'll all be missed! Hooah!!
You'll miss me too? xD  Well have a good time, it takes a lot to join the army so that is respectable.
Have a great training mate! Hope youll be back by Christmas! (If you aren't, as in earlier, you failed )
your positive... personaly i think now isnt the best time to go into the army, with iraq and all, you might be going there soon
Well, maybe he wants to go to Iraq? Remember, the US has gotten pretty desperate though... they didn't use the draft this time because they (in lay-man's...) just sent the soldiers who served back again. Essentially like this: "Yes, I'm finally back from Iraq! Whoo! I'm glad to be done!" *ring ring* "...Hello?" "Hey uh... it's the US Army calling" "Oh hey, congratulating me on how I've finished my servivce?" "Yeah, congratulations!" "Thanks!" "But uh... sure. On a side note to that... We need to ask you a favor......." "Oh? What? =|" "We need you to come back." "To Iraq =O" "Yeah." "=(" "I can tell by your phone-emoticon that you are sad." "Yes." "So...Awkward..." "Can I decline?" "Hahahah, roflolmfao." "Hehehe." "No." ">=(" "Ok, see you in Iraq! ... AGAIN!" *click* ".... =(" BTW You're doing this for your country and that's pretty honorable. I hope they don't pull any bull---- on you. Good luck! (I hear Ft. Knox is pretty intense, good luck!)
Good luck, I'm leaving on the 26th to Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, as an MP. My friend that enlisted with me is leaving tomorrow for Ft. Jackson. I'm going to be gone for roughly 21 week's. I'm suppose to be back at the end of January. Stop-loss. The movie is gay and anti-government.
