    I hate you.

I am naturally large, with a large muscle structure, but my metabolism sucks. I could consume half the calories an average person would and still gain weight while running 7 days a week, it sucks lol.

Yea pot luck really my family from both sides are slim but im taller then the rest at about 6'2 so i look the thinnest and i really dont weigh much 64KG which is what 9 stone? But i hold my own lifting wise, cause i build and install kitchens and other items so when you weigh 64kg and you are lifting 80kg+ pantries up stairs and onto trucks ect your strength comes up quick.

Im stoked but, put on like 4 KG this year muscle wise as there isnt an ounce of fat on me. * shakes head *

Problem with being thin and such is i eat like a horse, and thats when you get diabeties ect cause you dont really count yourself in the risk catagory.

But if you really are weight conciouse then you just need to find what motivates you, and get yourself active even just 30 minutes every couple days...

Since October, i've put on two stone... 28lbs. Starting tomorrow/today(now) im going to shed it and get my figure back.
I'm starting with a 2day body detox, just drinking water(4-6litres a day) and eating nothing but fruit and veg. I'll be trying to cut out the smokign and i will not be drinking alcohol. Also everyday i will be body conditioning, one day upper, the next lower. Mixed with a 3-5mile run each morning to help shed some body fat.
After this i'll be continuing my conditioning + runs, with a new 5meal a day, healthy diet.

    4 pages, tl;dr.

If your trying to lose weight:
High intensity cardio, which is basically running or speed walking uphill. Doing this for 15 minutes before a workout and after should be more then enough, if you can actually run the full 15 minutes. If you cannot, they I suggest running atleast a half mile, push yourself, and then do a cooldown walk for about another 1.5mi-2mi. As for the workout itself, the more reps you do with less weight is going to benefit you in the end, as it tones the muscle better.

If your trying to gain muscle:
Low intensity cardio, walking for about 15 minutes before a workout and after will be the best bet. This is about 2-3mi; it gets your heart rate up which means your body burns through fat tissue more. During the workout you want to slowly pack on more weight. I suggest doing 3 sets of 15/12/10, adding weight each time. Breaks up your days so your muscles have adequate time to rest aswell, my current schedule is:
    Monday: Upper Back and Biceps
Tuesday: Cardio, Abs, and Lower back
    Wednesday: Chest and Triceps
    Thursday: Quads, Hamstrings, and Calves
    Friday: Rest day
Saturday: Biceps and Triceps, doing atleast 5 sets of each excersize
    Sunday: rest day

The rest days help your major muscle groups from becoming sore. As for abs, I myself am not genetically gifted, BUT, with enough cardio and ab excersizes (please note that you should be doing as much upper ab workouts as you are lower abs, even though lower are much harder to gain) I have started to see nice results.

A final note about supplements, they are bull. I have never taken any supp's, took a 3 week break for vacation, went back to the gym and did as much weight as I did when I left. My buddy was on muscle milk, went on vacation for two weeks, dropped a whole 30 lbs on his bench. It just goes to show that when you stop taking the supps or stop working out, they weight and muscle goes away at an amazingly fast rate. Another guy I knew, he was in his mid 20's, was on weight-gain injections; he stopped taking them, and lost the weight within 3 weeks.
