Ok, so either; 8GB Sansa Fuze -£100 OR 8GB Ipod Nano -£130 Is it worth the extra £30 (gbp) for the ipod? The sansa has a good quality mic, and FM radio built in. but has a 1.9inch screen conpared to the ipods 2.0 inch. The sansa can accept microSD cards to expaned the storage. The ipod is a much cleaner looking system. -But i woul dhave to use itunes ( ). The 24hour claimed battery life on both systems is a big bonus. OR I could push the boat out, and spend £30 more than the nano, on a classic (80gb). For £160-ish. It's claimed to have 30 hours of battery life D) Confusion =[
hmm i would go with the sanza, as for the ipod 1. itunes -1 2. can you expand the ipod? 3. itunes -1 4. it looks good but thats about it
Hehe. I've always been against itunes, and devices which require you to use their software, for a task which would be surficient without it. But the thought of the 80gb classic is growing on me. For £150 too. My sister works in an electronics store, and can get 10% staff discount. So maybe as little as £135 for the classic
then go get it! and get one for me as I told u to do it (check topic "font mod" in the sugestion area at SR leetmu )
yey if i was you get the ipod classis 80gb its really cool my bro got it nice sharp screen and you can watch movies on it dont know if santa can play movies?
Sansa can play movies, but it's not an amazing screen to play it on. The ipod classic looks to be the one for me D:
I have a classic iPod 80gb myself, and have been collecting songs for a few years... still haven't even gotten close to filling that thing up even with Youtube videos and the like. I also own an iPod nano 8gb, which was a good buy for the value, and its size makes it all the better. Though, I have had good experiences with Sansa as well. As for iTunes, its an easy interface and I've never really been limited by it in any way that I can think of... Overall, I'd recommend the classic 80gb. Lots of space + nice screen + battery life = win.
For me, I have 2x 60gb fifth generation iPods (both of them are full) and they both have worked nearly flawlessly despite being dropped tens of times, sitting in my pocket for hours on end, sleeping on top of them, sitting in my car through snow storms and through 100 degree heat (more like 110-120 in my car as its pure black), etc. I would say your top choices are the iPod, Zune, or Zen, all of which have great reviews, accompanied by a price of course (but iPod is still the more expensive brand). The biggest issue I had with mine was when I tried to update it with my new computer, I ended up having to reformat the iPod entirely in order to put all my new music on it, and then it didn't work at all for a long period of time, claiming nothing on my system could be converted over, then I didn't touch it for a few months, plugged it in, and it took all the songs I had no problem. The other semi issue I have had is iPods seem to bog down and just stop working for a while until they get a hard restart, which generally fixed the issue, other times it needed to run out of battery power before it finally reset and worked correctly. Also, you aren't required to use iTunes to update your iPod, just for unnecessary software updates. I use winamp for my library and playlists, works like a charm, and it manages 2x iPods much, much, much better than iTunes does.
Sounds pretty good, i hear winamp is a good player anyway so i might use that when i get the ipod(if). I might save some money, and get one arround christmas time. Never know, they might drop their prices by then. Cheers for all your help/oppinions gguys. Been a great help.
