...im bored and just trying to make a decent discussion lol

i use an old Pentax ME Super...idk i find using a 35mm camera a lot more fun and rewarding than digital SLRs.

I use the Nikon D40. I have a pretty good 55mm lens with it that my dad gave me (it's 40 years old and I love it). It has no zoom, so occasionally I use the lens that came with my camera. Mostly I switch between my older lens and the one I bought recently, which I'll just copy paste that one here: Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S VR Zoom Lens. I love that lens, high recommendations. Cost me more than my camera, but well worth the money.

I also have a Nikormat EL from 1972, but I have trouble with film. I'm an impatient person and would waste so much film with my trigger happy fingers. I can't really afford to have a film camera as my favorite. Also, I can't stay in darkrooms for very long. In high school I was in a darkroom for a good hour, and had a serious headache for two days because of it. Darn students and a busy teacher (I was teaching half the students in the darkroom... while I was a student in the same class... I got a C that semester because I didn't have time to finish my work).

So... that's my story :). I might buy a point and shoot camera that can go underwater eventually, but that'll be after I buy a Nikon D80... so it'll be a while. The D40 is nice... but I'd really like to have the view screen on the top to save batteries, and I'd love to have 10 mp.

Your Pentax camera looks a lot like my nikormat camera. Then again, all the cameras from that era look pretty much the same on the outside... How's that camera treating you? Probably still works like new since those cameras are built to last.

I'm just getting into photography, and I'm liking it a lot.

My camera is an old Canon AE1 that I got from my grandfather, with two lenses. The 50mm Canon lens that came with the camera, and a Soligor 80-200mm telephoto lens.

I mainly take pics of stuff around my city, but I've taken the camera on trips with me. I also have a Kodak Easyshare 530 digital camera, and it works just fine for standard pictures.

I'll usually edit the digital pictures, since I don't know how to turn my 35mm film pictures into digital, if there is a way...

Ïf I'd want I could borrow my dad's Canon D300. Don't know the specifications on the lenses but could find them out.
