most likely my sotw entry. might not win, but I'm pretty happy with my outcome it wasn't very easy, and it took a while. CnC is very very appreciated ^^
I would not use this one for your entry. It's definitely not one of your best works. The concept you were going for was nice, but it just didn't quite work out. It looks mike you basically just slapped on an alien face and a couple C4Ds on a low quality background. I'm not trying to be insulting. I mean like I said, the concept you were going for was great. You just didn't quite get there. This is not your best work, I have seen you do much, much, MUCH, better work than this. My rating: 6/10
thanks for the comments and criticism. the only thing that was in the original bg stock were the stars tho, i made the rest, and tried to blend in the huge alien-like-thingy by changing the colors and lighting
You should make your own starfields. They're pretty easy to do and can be really fun to make! The image you used was pretty bad quality, that's probably what threw off everything else.
I uploaded a new version (i think the low quality you were talking about were my mistakes, the star stock was ok), i think i fixed the lq stuff too. CnC?
