Hello, i have been away on tour with the British Army I brought a iPhone 3G and i got over 1,000 songs on it and a few jump a little. But yet they play fine on my laptop and desktop pc.
I have tried renaming the song to a differant name and still get the same.

    Any help would be gratful..

Go into iTunes and right click on a song you have selected. Go to get info and then the options tab. Is it showing minutes or seconds? Is the start time 0:00?
