Why have people grown accustom to putting up baby or pictures of them self at a young age on their myspace and facebook? Most of my friends on there have done it and I just don't get it.
I don't use facebook or myspace so I couldn't tell you, but it doesn't seem to make much sense to me, that's for sure...

By putting up baby pictures they are trying to create a visual time line in your mind of their progression through life. They first give you a reference point of their lives before their minds were infected by the ever-spreading MySpace virus, then the "after" photos. The change is usually stunning. The patient usually shows a decline is overall I.Q. leading to bad judgement in times of "make big party." They feel compelled to takes pictures of themselves but do not have the attention span to complete it properly, resulting in a picture where they seem to be focusing on an object (most probably a bright, shiny object) somewhere off the edge of the picture. They develop behaviors that closely resemble obsessive-compulsive disorder that leads them to update their status of what they're doing (i.e. "Out takin pix" or "Updatn Status".) Their obsession makes them believe that people actually look at or "visit" they page, when they actually do not, or if they do then only to get the link of the page about the dog licking the screen. Because of the empowerment, they believe they have the skills necessary to decorate their page. The result of which is usually a hot pink and black background complemented with Fall Out Boy mind control audio(Yes, by this point you really are "Going Dohnnn dohnnn"). At this point they are only able to look at the pictures that they took of themselves before they were infected, but because the infection has become too strong, they are only able to label every person's name in every picture they ever took. Not all people, but some of them just put them so people/friends can see how much they have change. And to contrast them as now/ and back in their childhood?, I think that's the reason.
that made me lol @neuron I don't really care it's their lives they can do with it what they please. I just think it's weird and I would never do it.
