Just outside of Winnipeg, where I live. The sad thing is that it was just 30 or so minutes before they would get here.

Off course its bad for him, but if he was sleeping he hopefully didnt feel much of it.
I feel even more sorry for the people who had to see it. They are going to have traumas for a long time.

It sounds to me like it was really quick.. The first stab, anyway. I don't know why, like you said, that the people in the bus wouldn't help him out as the murderer was stabbing him to cut off his head though.

I was hearing on the radio, the man was at least stabbed twice before anyone really noticed, by that time, the man was fatal anyways. An obvious reaction to anyone who is on a bus with that kind of thing happening is to find the fastest exit. The people were actually pretty brave. They all got off the bus, they made sure the suspect didn't drive away, and then they kept him on the bus till the police arrived. Even that was impressive. I think we all would like to think that we'd do anything and everything to help this poor man, but truthfully, many of us wouldn't given the live situation. The knife he had some one mentioned was a "rambo knife". A large man is stabbing someone with a huge knife, its hard to imagine that you'd try to save a man that doesn't really have a chance of living anyways.
