Iastor.sys Problems.

    Basically, this is making my computer crash.

    There are no hardware problems, since the computer is new.
    I'm pretty sure I just have to download the most recent version of the driver, but I can't find it.

    It isn't a Dell.

    It's an Acer Aspire 8920G.

    I doubt reformatting would solve the problem, since this is happening since the first day I had the computer.
    Also, I'm running Vista.

    Does it randomly happen as a BSOD? Check your Event Viewer (Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Event Viewer) and see what happens right before it crashes. That should give you an idea if it's software-related. I'm too lazy to search right now, but Google can help you.
