That's sad.. =[ Definitely a courageous man. That's what you call a true man, and a true friend. Rest in peace.

At the end of day, you wouldn't know how you would react in his situation.

So saying "I would have..." is just stupid.

    That guy is awesome.

i agree with acrima, at that moment you only think about saving those who are around you.

    RIP for a brave man

I think it's pretty wrong that 90% of the time you have to die to get a medal of honor.. I know it's the highest honor in the military, but wouldn't you rather be alive to have it?

But I also agree with Acrima, no one knows what they would do in a situation like that.

I wouldn't do it for just some friends, but if I were as close as navy seals are, at least their squad is, then yes, I'd imagine I would. But not right now, hell no. Brave man, RIP.

The man deserves nothing but respect.

I don't know if I could have done the same.

I've heard a similar story a while back, where the guy tried to save everybody by jumping on top of a grenade while covering it with his helmet. He barely survived, but a piece of metal impaled his skull and gave him major brain damange + memory loss
    It's pretty sad
