    Discuss hiphop in here...

What you listen to now days? I prefer to listen to more of the oldschool stuff, newer hiphop/rap i don't really get into.. Its too mainstream for me

Recently been listening to a lot of Wu-Tang 36 Chambers FTW

I pretty much listen to anything such as Rock, Rap, Techno, Country, etc...

For rap im a fan of SPM(South Park Mexican). I live extremely close(within 10 miles) to where he grew up and many of his songs talk about it.

I like mainstream and underground or "indie" hip-hop.

---- like Danny!, Immortal Technique, Lil Wayne, The Game, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Nas, Jay-Z.. are the types you would find in my library. I do feel the genre is on it's last legs with all the new garbage coming out every few months.

Beastie Boys... Kanye... OutKast (the Andre 3000 bits)... Gym Class Heroes....

I really dislike most rap. The rap mainstream is like the country mainstream; manufactured by the studios.

immortal technique only has a few things, he's breakig into the mainstream..

other than that, Wu, classic Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, MF Doom, Necro, and old Dr. Dre are good fun.

You people are forgetting the easiest rap for any white boy to get into: Mos Def. :P

Though, I love Mos Def. At least, his debut solo album. Black Star (Mos Def + Talib Kweli) 's near perfection, also.

Not to mention Pharoahe Monch and his album which was released last year called Desire. Very great flash back to old school rap. I'm sure most of you will enjoy it, especially the Public Enemy cover on it.

I've also always loved UGK and what not. R.I.P. Pimp C. Bun B's latest is pretty a'ight, also. Good stuff. ^_^

Reading through this thread I see a lot people here should be listening to a lot more stuff. <_<
