    Classic all the way. Every pokemon is a robot nowadays.

    The anime was quite good in my opinion... UNTIL season 2 and the... third movie?
    Now the storyline is just like dragon ball. Meet new pokémon - it's cute or strong or adorable - going to either catch it or save it in some way or defeat it to save some damn village and then it goes all like QQ after you done it and then team rocket flies in and tries to ruin everything and fails and ash and brock and random female moves on to the next village. HUZZAH
