Yeah, what Dementia said, it's most likely interfernce, check your sound program incase you changed your speakers to pick up interference or what not. Best of luck.
Doubt it's a virus, but you might have a prank R.A.T that enables file transfers / sound playing. I've been into this stuff back when I was younger so it's very possible. :]
