B/W makes up for colour errors because black and white always goes with black and white. It's an easy-way-out.

I like your first version better. It's nice, it works together, it all fits. And the text isn't "in your face" to ruin the tag but it's still there so we all know about it. Good placement too. I like it. It feels hot.

 

v2 is much better but needs a little blurring.. its lookin kinda static..

 

To too mono and over crowded. Try to dye down the bussyness, and make it flow more. Lighting and Depth could be better too
