Based on what? Just because people went with the 360 over the PS3 for various reasons (games and price being two of them), doesn't mean they don't enjoy Final Fantasy. It's a matter of preference. I was going to buy the PS3 around the same time XIII was to be released. Now, the only reason to buy a PS3 is for Versus and LittleBigPlanet. So is the PS3 going to die? No. Did it get served? Sure. It's not like it's going to kill the system though. Final Fantasy XI is already on the Xbox... so it's not really too shocking. The only exclusive games coming to the PS3 that look good are LittleBigPlanet and Versus. The 360's exclusive future seems much brighter than the PS3's. More and more games are going multiplatform now. I wouldn't be surprised if Star Ocean made the jump.
It is just one Game Guys Final Fantasy is not going to be the end of the world for Sony Corporation. In the past few years Sony has released much more impact games than Microsoft has and Sony is not going to die just because of one changeover to Microsoft for one small game. I have never really been a fan of the Final Fantasy Series since the first One I played on PS One, and never will be. the whole thing does not get me that well. In my opinion, Final Fantasy is not going to play a humongous role in Sony's Downfall..something else will, but it is true that Sony will loose a couple Billion Dollars in this bad a$$ deal. Yeah I agree with Iniiiiiiii Sony would not let Final Fantasy go that easily to MS Soft their most extreme competition in gaming industry. Untill they were beginning to put something huge out in the market time will tell...believe me... Soni has something and will tell in the next couple of months or year...
Funny how you guys were all on sonys side when Playstation 1 and 2 were pretty much dominant. but now you guys are like "lol sony sucks" Sony still has: - Metal Gear Solid 4 - Killzone 2 - Gran Turismo 5 - a blu ray player - PS3 Home - Motorstorm - Tekken 6 - Resistance 2 - The Getaway - SOCOM and others.... and Final Fantasy is over-rated. They should of stopped at 9. -

True Tekken and PMGS 4 are going to be one of their greatest hits as far as I see Final Fantasy is overrated, they should have stopped at the PS One version of FF 4 or something. Plus PS3 is free online, unlike X-Box for which you need to Pay As for the blue-ray there was a conference thing going around where Sony was going to provide Xbox with Blueray... Zain
You Ain't the only one lol :mellow: I have had X-Box 360 for a month from Nov 07 to late Dec 07 Had a Wii around the same time.. Didn't like either and returned both Got a PS3 early Feb 08..and had it til early last month..when not any new games coming out for it. Then MGS Came and bought PS3 again then sold it again... Now I just go to my friend if I want to play PS3 Also I am re-buying the PS3 for sure on my 19th Birthday in September and Won't be selling that :lol: ... hopefully :mellow: Zain
And God of War 3 and Little Big Planet and Uncharted and Uncharted 2. Also. This wouldn't be a surprise to Sony. There would have been plenty of talks between Microsoft, Sony and Square Enix. Plus a hunk of cash for sony. They wouldn't have allowed this to happen if they didn't have a back up plan or didn't think they would profit from it. It's not like FFXIII isn't on the PS3 anymore either. So. Sony really didn't get served.
