    I bought the PS3 on the day it came out and I don't have any problems with it yet... surviving stronger than my X360~

    my ps3 broke because of a hard drive failure do to my abuse :) Plus the hard drive that sony uses in one of the worst ones out there. From the 100+ reviews on that hard drive atleast 70 people said that it died after a few weeks/months. Anyways, all my sony stuff has lasted and the ps3 is the first on that has broken but then again it was not the PS3 that broke.

    got 60gb last summer..so be about 1 year..still works like a charm :D

    mine's the first generation 60 GB and it still works for me lol.
    chrome finish and all.
