we can't talk about or post warez yet the forum directly advertises it on the top of the page. So it's fine for you to advertise and make money off of illegal software, music, yet the second someone posts a link to something even slightly related to the field we get warned? Am I the only one that finds that ironic?

In order to have to conversation at all about anything, the site needs to run. In turn, the money made from adverts go towards hosting, etc. So quit complaining. And it's more of an IPB rule anyways.
Shaggy is also in the process of removing those warez ads anyways. But since you decided to draw attention to yourself. Is there a reason you have a link in your sig that leads to a site that has video rips etc?
Yeah because I figure if you can advertise it I should be able to as well. Believe me Gr makes more money than they need for hosting expenses. My site gets about 2,000 hits a day through my adsense and I make a good $10 a day I can imagine how much this site makes adsense alone a month. $10 for 15 Days $25 for 1 month $50 for 3 months $90 for 6 months ^Not to mention those figure for advertising and I see a good 5+ ads on the rotating ad alone. I claim it but I grew up in Bosnia. Moved to USA when I was 8. Whole civil/religious war deal you know. Most Catholics claimed themselves Croats when the countries split.
And what's the problem about that? Profit is good. And the only reason warez and stuff can't be posted here, is because of the rules Ipb set up themselves. They can close down the forum (or get it closed down) in an instant when they found out warez are being posted on it. With the advertising though, they pay so it's all good. It's a link to an outside site, nothing to with gamerenders what so ever so it's their issue about what they do on that site. But like said Logicaly, Shaggy is removing those ads.
The reason, honestly? Because it's the rules. However Shaggy owns the site, so he doesn't have to follow any rules he doesn't want to. get over it, he has cheat codes.
This site actually doesnt pay for itself, but its nice to see a person with 54 posts assuming they know how this site works. Also, enjoy your suspension. You know your signature is against our rules, and chose to leave it, even after being blatantly asked about it.
Don't forget to suspend .Immortal, from AG, as they are the same person. Also, the reason why the ad is there is because Shaggy runs an automated service where people provide the ad and place their payment and its automatically displayed. It is displayed across every site owned by Shaggy. I have already brought it up to him to remove them when he sees them, but as admins we don't see them as we have them removed, so I can only see them as a guest.
