    the text is pretty bland and out of place, as is the render, he's not blended very well.

    background looks nice

    great bg, the problem is that the render and text don't fit.
    you should work on blending the render, and change the text

    i like the tag only the glow of the phantom is a little disturbing

    Text is very boring, effects are dull as well. I just think it's the sprite choice. When I try and make sprite signatures, I use ones that are great to look at and have good quality. While the sprite you used is not very exciting and seems a little low quality. I do believe you can greatly improve it though. Maybe try reading some sprite tutorials, there are some cool and fun ones to learn from. :)
