Well, I get up at 6:30 ,like always and get ready for work. I step outside and the grass is really wet. It rained some last night, apparently. No big deal, I can go back to sleep. After all I work for a lawn care company. So I call my boss and I'm like, "Are we workin' today? It looks like it's going to rain again, anyways." He says, "We need to finish this job, she paid in advance, so we'll wait til about 8:30, if it is going to rain it should by then, we should be able to get at least a few hours." Ok, at this point I agree and go back in the house, it's about a quarter til seven. So I go back to sleep, and wake up around 7:50. I get up, put my hat back on and walk out the door. The sky is threatening rain. But he told me we'd work so I leave. It's about a 25-30 minute drive out to this specific yard we were working on today. We are basically uprooting all her bushes/small trees, weeding all of her flower bed (she just moved in so it's pretty bad), planting new grass and putting mulch in other areas. We've been working on it for three days now. We are almost done with everything but the mulch. So I park by her yard, and it isn't raining. AS SOON AS I STEP OUT OF THE FREAKING DOOR IT STARTS TO FREAKING RAIN!!! My boss is standing there staring at me. Then he says, "Well, I guess we'll be out here first thing in the morning." ... ... ------ I TOLD HIM IT WAS GOING TO RAIN! GAHHHH!!! :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:
If that's too long for you, then you need to go back to third grade and tell them you won't skip out this time. And aim for the hard stuff, like Dr. Seuss
I'm not Mexican. Although, if I were I'd probably get paid more for what I do, then I currently get paid, lawl.
