I seriously lol at comcast for having such retards working for them. So the dude comes , to connect the cable, thats tv, internet & phone. When he gets to the computer, he then realizes that he has to set it up. Due the fact that he is on my brothers computer I didn't care. There was no soda on my house to offer him, so I went ahead and went to buy some soda for the dude, he was sweating and im a good sanitarian so I went on my journey to get soda. I come back and the dude tells me he cannot connect me to the internet because of an unknown reason to him. I was ready to flip. He called their support, support didn't seem to find a problem and blamed the computer. So I sit in front of the computer and realize he's using Firefox. I run Internet Explorer for the first time in over years and tell him "Try this.." and I walked away. Well guess what? It worked. He said to me, "I don't know what you did but it works, good job." I Lol'd at him. That's ------ing sad yet hilariously funny. Thats my story, .
that's what happens when you use bull---- proprietary software, it doesn't work on everything like it SHOULD...
but if a ------ing internet provider doesn't know that, gimmie a break, what type of assholes are we dealing with?
Same thing happened at my house. Its funny, because most of their techs have a degree / schooling of some sort and have worked in the field for years now and they don't know wtf firefox is vs internet explorer.
