.tiff [alpha Channel]

    I just started using Photoshop again after awhile, and I forgot a little about this. I have downloaded a few C4D's and they are saved in a .TIFF format, with Alpha Channel. Now I'm pretty sure that means you can extract the C4D and lose the black background, correct? I forget how you go about doing this so if anyone could inform me it would be great. Thank you in advance.

    I had that much in my head, but I believe last time I tryed that way whenever I transferred it came up black and white with transparent background.
