I don't normally comment on art, but you don't have any so here goes.

The starfield is quite good. One thing I absolutely hate in any space scene is a lense flare. Even if that's how you created the bright star, remove it somehow.

The planet is a little blurry. If you added more contrast into the texture of the planet the overall planet would turn out better.

Not bad for only having done four space scenes. Keep at it.

Planet needs to be lit a little more, especially with a huge lens flare there. So the sun needs to reach more of the planet (upto about half). The planet needs sharpening, your lens flare doesn't fit in.

Nebula is good, but your starfield needs improvement.

    Good job for a novice.

Not that bad. I agree on the lighting. And the planet is a bit too dark, a little more light on it would probably be good. I love how the space and stars itself came out though. Really good. My rating: 8/10

Quite truthfully, It doesn't seems like its airbrushed. Maybe manipulated but not airbrushed. Nevertheless I think its a good concept but the colors just dont work for me.

Is that based on the DA category its in? If so, yh ill change that I think.

Just trying to get techniques for planets, starfields, nebulas etc for now, ill concentrate on originality, colours, composition later.

Thanks for the comment mate and nice portfolio.

    hey hey!

nicely done. everyones right about the lenseflare..... but domt take it out because of what people say. lense flare is a photoshop tool. it helps space artists quite alot! there is so many things you can use the lenseflare for. so dont quit on it :P

btw on a serius note, but watch out for mistakes with contrast and stuff alike. it can realy spoil your whole art.... so yeah. keeo an eye on that. and when you create a starfield. not that yours isnt good as it is. but to make it just a little more realistic.. get rid of some of the stars. to many stars can look very bad in alot of work.

thats it my Gamerenders freind. iv just uploaded a space art myself right under yours :P

Yh im gonna play around with the lens flare tool and try to use it more appropriate situations. I thought I'd done a few too many stars actualy but I let it go to see what you guys thought.

    Thanks for the help :)
