you gotta basically work on everything

the sigs are way to small for those kinds of effects

    theres basically no focal point

    and no depth and blending

the effects are too crazy and stop using scan lines

Dude, don't double/triple post to bump your thread. There isn't anybody f5'ing the signature board so they can reply to every new thread. Also, if you ask for criticism, people are probably going to seem harsh.

As said above, lose the scanlines.

No one said you sucked. You stated you have been doing it for only six months. Time, patients, and practice. "Gotta Learn" You wanted C&C and that is exactly what they are doing. No reason to sugar coat and blow marshmallows up your bum in the process. They are direct and to the point the way it should be. I wouldn't be so quick to judge the board people are on all the time.

they're not bad In my opinion, u just need to work on the Contrast/Levels of lighting. it needs more Depth n Volume, also you need to work on blending the main picture with the background. try using the Eraser tool at a 20% and blend the "effects" off Cloud's face. what u need to achive is a focal point and focus on that POPPING OUT. other then that i'd say ur doing fine. your text and the position of the render with the effects is great.

i sucked more when i did photoshop on my 6th month xD
they are not bad man .. you just need to work harder to improve

get new resources, check out tuts , experiment with photoshop .. try everything out
and don't even worry about other people's advice .. no need to class you
classing is bull---- imo .. art is for you .. not for us , you get it ?

just work harder to improve on your gfx skills. . and cnc helps alot .. don't get mad on people just because they say the truth
    learn from it

    keep it up :) goodluck
