I have tried every provider in denver and I consistently get 200+ latencies. I have tried just about everything I can think of software side to drop it, its just not happening =P. Some people have to live with it.
amen brudda plus i hardly lag at all, <120ms to new york cs servers <140ms to my main cs server in ohio
10ms ping and on top of that I'm using a wireless router so add on 1-2ms from what the connection really is.
Doesn't change some people have to live with it. Again, as said, I have used every single provider in the metro denver area, none of them beat about ~130 latency (variant on where you test it). My WoW server on CST time zones (so the server is located near me, but out of the mountain time zone) gives me ~30-60 ping, but I got ~320 ping on my spped tests in Denver =P Unless there is something software side you can do to lower it, some people have to deal with it. If there is something you can do to lower it, I would be interested in that. Latency = win when it comes to gaming competetively.
