This is not a zombie. Not really a zombie.

Well, I had this one 99% finished before I decided I didn't like the pose. So I'm starting from the beginning again (not the head, though, I'm still happy with it)... And then I had an idea to have his skeleton and muscle show through, but I'm still tinkering with how that's gonna work...

This is one of the few times I'm painting without a reference of some sort.

Really just posting this cause I think I'm done for today. Kinda drained from work, planning on finishing on my day off.

anywho here's a WIP, just very quickly and very messily roughed in the general pose, and some messing around with skeletonandbones and things.

    About 65% actual size

no. I've been telling myself, i'm going to get one, for about 3 years now...

so yeah, it's, just like the rest, all done by mouse.

I hate pointing that out because from then on all i hear is, "i'm very impressed considering you did that with a mouse," and not much else ( like anything about the actual painting).

awesome painting, a lot better than anything i could even try to do :P
anyway if you can do this with a mouse, you might not want to switch to a tablet, it's really different and takes a lot of practice to get back to the level you were with your mouse (which is pretty damn high if you ask me :P)
anyway keep up the great work

I hear you, but I'm at a point where I'm past some of the obvious limitations of the mouse and coming across some new ones, anyways I've used a tablet, and the motion is just so much more natural for me.

    Thanks for the comments, all.
