yeah i know i edited video with it for a while.. the mouse is still tough for me to get used to though
sure the hell doesn't seem too mighty to me, that mouse is only 400 DPI I'm used to moving my hand no more than 1.5 inches usually with the wrist being stationary and the hand doing all the moving. and at $50 the mighty mouse just really seems like overpriced ---- on a stick considering the simple fact that browsing is exponentially faster on your standard 5 button mouse.
you need to go to /g/ more often, for the most part other reasons commonly stated for using an Apple system are more or less illegitimate. For a *nix OS, OSX is relatively slow inefficient and not stable. To me the GUI doesn't matter worth a damn considering I tend to super+R or ctrl+f1 to open things(the former for windows the latter for linux) and that I use the keyboard more than the mouse when it comes to general navigation and the same goes for most competant users. system security is crap OSX side, and while it's targeted less I sure as hell don't have issues with windows as far as security goes. drivers are pure bull---- *nix side, all of it, they just don't get good 3rd party support and because of Apple's ridiculously strict policies on 3rd party software performance takes a ---- driver side even more so than other *nix based OSes. the list goes on. the consensus(in /g/ ) is that apple makes really low quality low performing computers(compared to other systems in their price range) everyone KNOWS M$ is evil and rips off people. M$ has a market cap rate of $260billion, Apple has a cap rate of 150bil. go do the freaking math, apple makes around 10-20 times more profit with each sale than M$ the "evil one" does. I'm not dumb enough to get ripped off on software - something which SHOULD be free
