: Moon / Abstract :

First in a while. Comments and constructive criticism are greatly appreciated.

 

Is it meant to be a space scene? If it is i dont like it sorry.

 

It isn't necessarily supposed to be space, with stars and everything. I though of it as more of a moon with a more abstract background.

 

Not really feeling it. Looks like static.

 

Thanks for the comments. As I said, this is my first in a while, so I still have to get back into the swing of things.

Did you create the 'moon'?

 

I used an image like this and cut out circle. All of the lighting on the bottom was created by me.



Here's the colored version.

 

Colored version is better imo, it looks kinda plain and it is a bit dull.

 

looks very beginner, try adding color to it, and bring out the planet more.

 

looks like a mix of grunge and space, dont go to well together imo.

 

I really appreciate all of the comments. For some reason, the colored version didn't work. Here is it again, for everyone who said it needed color:

I agree, it really is lacking depth and a good focal point. Would you suggest blurring the BG some?

 

I think it wouldn't look good in this style, you just need to sharpen the moon more.
