Well the dome has been open now 4days and for all those how have participated so far i just wanted to know what your thoughts are,it seems to be seeing quite a lot of activity so thats gotta be a good thing i guess.. Like it? Hate it?
I think that it is definitely going well, especially since it is all done by us voting, so its all a matter of personal opinion on wins and losses. Meaning, I like how it somewhat shows how good you are, but not entirely, so there is nothing to brag about. So as of right now I think it is going really well, but was curious about one thing. I came back here on GR after my problems in RL, but thought that the Graphics Crew was basically put into place for the Battledome, but I think I have only seen SM Cliche actually posting in there. Please correct me if I am wrong though. I think that the battle updates and what not would be much smoother if the Graphics Crew (seeing as if thats what they are there for) would be able to update the statistics. That way too the only need to PM you would be for problems and the rank bonuses. If not them though, possibly at least a couple others for it to run smoother. I think though that as of right now there is nothing really wrong or needing to be fixed with the battledome, just a way to maybe get some people in there.
The gfx crew permission sets dont allow them to change the stats,they would have to be put into a admin group for that m8,thats why i have took the responsability of it,and i am sure the max members have had to wait has been around 8-10 hrs while i sleep or work for their stats to be updated,usually with a hour or so stat updates have been done
I like it so far. Everyone seems fair in their decisions. It'd be cool to introduce different types of battles in it as well, tag team, elimination, etc.
So far the Battledome has been a great success. I like the way that the battles are being processed and that everyone seems to having fun while at it I am not a big fan of having only Singles Matches, as I am an Amature Wrestler myself, so I have some suggestions on match types if you would like to add them These are the matches that go on in the Wrestling World :lol: Tag Team Match -- 2 vs 2 (More than 2 kind of gets crowded for this type of Battledome) Handicap Match -- 1 vs 2 (Sounds good and Can be a lot of fun!) Fatal 4 Way Match -- 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 (There is no Elimination, just the First one to reach 5 Votes Wins) Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match -- 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 (After every 3 votes the lowest # of Voted Tag Drops out and the remaining go on, Something in that manner) Maybe if you want to go Extreme Try: 8 Man Tag Team Match -- 4 vs 4 (Each team gets 5 votes, and First one to 5 Wins, that simple) Once the Battle-Dome is more efficient, and we have more participants, it will be great if we have something like the following: King of the Ring -- (explanation below) 16 Members are given the Right to Enter. After 16 Members have been chosen, the Staff Randomly partners the 8 Members with the other 8 Members. Those partners will be their first opponent. And, as the Winners move on the Harder the Style / Theme of the Battle Gets. In all we will have 15 Matches. First 8 Will be Preliminary Matches, The next 4 Will be ------------- Finals, Next 2 Will be ------ Finals , Last one will be the Finals. The Winner of the King of the Ring Match will go on to Face the GR Grand Champion for the Title of the GR Grand Champion. From there on Draven can Probably think of some crazy idea to place into the Idea of King of th Ring Battle-Dome Also, for the KOTR, you will need to decide the Style / Theme of each of the matches As for the names, they are just Match Types in WWE, so they can be changed accordingly to what the Staff Wants Furthermore, So far it has been a Success and I am personally Enjoying it, even though I have more Losing than Winning But hey, We Win some & We Loose Some Just my 2 cents on the B-Dome for our fellow members. -Vanquish
Like the idea of the top 5 Van,not too sure about the king of the ring thing,i would like to implement a big tourney like this hopefully at some point though,like i said above i dont mind if you implement the ones you got there too if you want.
Yea, I think those are good ideas instead of just 1v1, but I wonder how long those would go for since we still do not have too many people in there.
Yes I love them as well :lol: I was kind of off topic when I thought of King of the Ring tournament, but then again we already have something like that, Like a Royal Rumble, which is the SOTW but instead of 1 winner we get 3 So that works. I might try out of of the top five that I posted above but depends on how I feel about that particular one. Also I am a fan of wrestling, even though Wrestling ain't in my blood. I just think of everything and compare it to Wrestling, thus it is easier for me to remember I am not saying to go ahead and do these right now. If you look in the Battledome there are only 50 or so threads, most and out of those only about 24 or so are for Actual Battles Once that number of 50 reaches around lets say 500 or even more (depends on how fast and how many people enter) then we can go ahead and make new forums like there are for 100Credits 150Credits 200Credits Battling, to Tag Team Battles, Fatal 4 Way Battles, and so on and So forth.
