Well, Here it is... a friend of mine is a HUGE Kingdom hearts fanboy so I made this for him.... He loves it so much I thought I should share it with the world... Errrr. First, I'm glad your friend likes it. But I could throw out some simple stuff The blue background color is too intense which puts strain on the eye (lower saturation/brightness) The two background colors clash making it look even brighter and vivid Maybe you were going for this, but because the characters and logo are in the corner, the top left looks empty, even more so because of the lack of white in the background there The picture you chose (with the characters) completely clashes with the background color (blue hair on one of the dudes doesn't make it right) The picture quality and rendering is a little questionable (the guy with the goatee-half his head is missing) The text border color clashes with everything and its positioning brings attention to the abrupt end of the render. I say it's decent, but work on your color schemes. If you want to bring attention to something, be clever about it, you don't fire a gun into the air every time you want someone to pay attention to you, do you?
Well... Thanks for the comments I'll definitely try to work on my colours... I know the render is kinda bad, it's because it was a lot smaller picture that I took off wikipedia and removed a background from the lower half in. I also appreciate that the render dosnt exactly.... "Fit" with the color scheme, all I did was listen to what he wanted and make it happen. Anyway, thanks for the comments, I'll be sure to work on everything.
Its pretty basiced you could`ve do more on BG and blend render stuff and work on text but yeah, is this your first? if, its nice.
Yep, It's my first attempt at a background, and an image this size too... That's why I'm taking every comment as a compliment and a criticism, so I can get MUCH better, much quicker.
Well, I'm going to be brutally honest and say it's not that great. The background is just brushes which is a bad habbit to get into. Also not every single piece of the background needs to be filled. The renders are obviously done by the magic wand tool and have picked up half of someones head. The text is incredibly bright and doesn't go with the background. I suggest not using the super bright red. Ever. Maybe try and remove the outer stroke and change the font. Possitioning really needs to be changed your focal is in the wrong place and makes the whole thing look empty. Anyway, concentrate on this next time and you'll get a lot better. Good Luck .
