It is better to build your own. In most cases you can find the same parts in an Alienware for a cheaper price to build for yourself. But if you don't have newegg at your advantage then who knows. I wouldn't suggest the Western Digital drives - good but not good enough. Go with Seagate.
Yea, as long as you don't mind paying extra go with alienware. I'm sure you coulod buy EXACTLY the same parts on an alienware comp & it'd be cheaper.Also, alienware as said above is pretty much just a fancy case. I've seen way cooler but not on a NON custom store bought computer.
Reject bits???? well im happy with it...fancy case?? were else can i get a 1.6 terabyte storage system...or a 30"inch screen...plus tha case does look koo' and tha colors are f.uckn sweet..but on there site undaheadphones they have a pair advertised for $2,999...y tha f.uck would ne1 pay that..i'd rather by a second hand car for fun...

my cpu its the muts nuts. it silver with blue neon all around the front and tells temp and time. has a elec plate that comes up and down to hide the optical devices its wicked!.
