Go bigger, much bigger. Teh clouds look good.

 

The right side one looks a little bti more realistic. I have no ideas. Work on the clouds and then try to bring out the rider. (Right now is doesn't seem like the focal point.)

i have the exact same feeling, the problem is, when i try too add some sort of effect, the realism gets lost..
